Description

Ensures effective implementation and maintenance of safety policies and programs to ensure occupational and personnel safety within Kahramaa premises Implements safety strategies and plans, in order to ensure safety in compliance with Kahramaa's policies, in association with the Head of Safety Loss and PreventionMonitors and maintains operational effectiveness and control during the implementation of all the safety programs and initiativesAssists in the development of safety management systems and procedures, in compliance with all relevant quality standards and procedural/ legislative requirementsIdentifies safety hazards/ risks and recommends measures to reduce them, in liaison with Senior Engineer – SafetyEnsures maintenance of the safety equipment and monitors work activities to ensure their effective operation Investigates any on-site incident/ accidents involving personnel, plant and equipment at Kahramaa premisesAnalyses the causes behind such accidents/ incidents, conducts preventive and corrective safety checks as per prescribed standards and ensures readiness of all measures to be taken at the time of an emergency at working plantsPrepares manuals and guidelines which includes guidelines on ensuring compliance with safety standardsAssists the Senior Engineer – Safety in conducting awareness sessions to educate employees about the safety guidelines and procedures prevalent at KahramaaAdheres to organizational policies and procedures at all times as applicable to performing the roleKeeps abreast of any changes in related laws and regulations that impact the safety initiatives driven by the sectionWorks in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certificationCarries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations ... less
