Law No. (9) of 2022 regarding the regulation of the Right to Access Information gives you a general right to access information held by the following entities:

1- Ministries, government agencies, and public bodies and institutions affiliated to any of them.
2- Private associations and institutions, and other entities that carry out work of public interest.
3- Companies wholly owned by the state or in which it contributes 51% or more of its capital.
4- Other bodies specified by a decision of the Council of Ministers.

You can request documents that we hold and we will evaluate your request in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Access Information Law.

Important information
  • The concerned authority shall decide on the request within fifteen days from the submission date, and it may extend this period for a similar period, according to the nature or quantity of the information requested.
  • The requester shall be notified of the acceptance in whole or in part, or of the rejection and the reasons for it, at their national address or by any other means within seven days from the date of deciding on the application.
  • In case of urgent requests, the concerned authority must decide on the request within two days from the submission date, whether by answering the information requester, or by rejecting the request with a statement of the reasons for rejection.
  • The requester must receive the information within seven days from the date of being notified of the acceptance in whole or in part, otherwise they must submit a new application.
  • The requester may complain to the head of the entity in case of rejection within thirty days from the date of notification, and the head of the entity shall decide on the grievance within a period not exceeding fifteen days from the date of its submission, and the lapse of this period without deciding on the grievance is considered an implicit rejection of it.
