KAHRAMAA Awareness Park (KAP) has concluded its new initiative, which was conducted for the first time from June to August 2021 by organizing several activities with the team of “Play with KAP Team". The initiative was organized by the Awareness Section at Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department “Tarsheed", of the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA".
The 1st part of the initiative was dedicated to KAHRAMAA employees, where many departments have participated therein. It included activities regarding building team, improving work environment, getting rid of work stress after Corona pandemic, questions about National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency “Tarsheed" and KAHRAMAA Awareness Park. The event aimed at presenting the objectives of the National Program and raise the awareness of the employees to follow conservative and eco-friendly manners via the efficient utilization of electricity and water.
The initiative also included “The Treasure Hunt" the activity that aimed at introducing the sections of KAP in a new and innovative way. In this activity, the participants answered some questions related with the park's sections correctly, then they were guided to the locations that contain the treasure.
The 2nd part of this initiative was arranged for Tarsheed's partners and the supporters of KAHRAMAA Awareness Park. More than 12 authorities participated in this event. Some of the participants were Vodafone Qatar, Qatar Rail, Qatar Airways, Qatar Social Works, National Museum of Qatar, Aspire Academy, Behavioral Health care Center, Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) and other authorities. The event also included an awareness tour around the park as well as other activities aimed at disseminating the mission of National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency “Tarsheed" to reduce electricity and water consumption. Moreover, it has included workshops of developing communication skills, exchanging experiences, and creating new relations and partnerships with different sectors and institutions in Qatar.
The Treasure Hunt in the 2nd part was sponsored by “Vodafone Qatar" which was one of the strategic partners supporting the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency and its goals to raise awareness of environmentally sustainable development. Many prizes were distributed during the event which witnessed great interactions by the participants.
