Inspector (HVAC)

Description:

The role holder is responsible for supervision of performance of HVAC maintenance works on site to ensure that works are performed accurate, timely and according to Kahramaa’s objectives and general standards. In addition to releated admin works.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Contractors'/Consultants' works execution and notifies them of any code violations with written compliance report at the time of inspection.
  • Ensures correction of violations are made and takes appropriate action to insure compliance with applicable specs. and standards.
  • Inspects materials used on the site and ensures the quality is as per guidelines set and re-measure the used quantities.
  • Inspects HVAC equipment installation/maintenance work for which specific permits are required.
  • Inspects HVAC works (new installations), performed by contractor for the new substations/water reservoirs by site visits and make sure it is as per Kahramaa regulations and report to Foreman/Engineer - HVAC.
  • Monitors performance of the team “Contractors/Consultants" on site.
  • Collects site details as per specific instructions for cost estimate and any other development work purposes.
  • Checks the facilities location and owner information.
  • Manages the overall maintenance, renovation, construction/new installations and conditions of the site.
  • Follows-up on the issuing of any required permit for the site operations.
  • Submits periodic reports to the Foreman - HVAC on complaints, violations and any other site related issues.
  • Performs other related duties as needed upon request by immediate Foreman/Engineer - HVAC.
  • Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification
  • Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations

    Self Management Responsibilites:
  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting Engineer/Foreman and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting Engineer/Foreman to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.




Qualifications:

High Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 


More than 6 years of experience in a similar industry and/or position.
