​The role holder is responsible for ensuring effective transmission and communication of data from the electricity network substations to the control centers, via advanced telecom technological systems. 

The role holder is also responsible for ensuring regular monitoring and maintenance of all telecom equipment/ systems and evaluating any faults or errors in the telecom equipment/ systems and recommending corrective action to repair the same.​
