Various Activities in KAHRAMAA Celebration of National Sport Day

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” marked Qatar National Sport Day on Tuesday 10/2/2015 at Katara beach. The celebration was attended by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry, H.E. Eng. Essa bin Hilal Al-Kuwari KAHRAMAA President, as well as KAHRAMAA Directors and Managers.

The event included various sports and recreational activities. The event witnessed heavy attendance by KAHRAMAA staff and their families amid joyful amenity.

KAHRAMAA celebration was opened with a group walk participated by H.E. Minister of Energy & Industry, KAHRAMAA president, H.E. Eng. Essa bin Hilal Al-Kuwari, KAHRAMAA senior management and employees.

The activities included interactive group competitions such as volley ball, and beach football, as well as a free play zone for bikes and table tennis. Recognizing the role of women in society and work force, KAHRAMAA has designated a zone for women with sports machines, yoga, and sports exercises trainer to encourage them to practice sports. Kids had their own activities and zone.

KAHRAMAA celebration witnessed wide participation by the public who interacted with the activities and expressed their pleasure to participate especially with the new activities.
