KAHRAMAA connects electricity and water to land lots vouchers

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” announced a new executive plan for the connection works of electricity and water to all areas where electricity and water will be early connected to planned land lots.

 It comes within KAHRAMAA efforts, in coordination with Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning and Ashghal, to provide high quality services to customers as per its mission of providing high quality and sustainable electricity and water for better living in Qatar under the wise instructions of H.H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

The new plan is meant to cease multiple excavations at residential areas where services will be connected to land lots vouchers before construction. Besides, the connection duration of completed projects will be noticeably cut to put an end to illegal connections.
In coordination with the concerned authorities, KAHRAMAA has recently set a plan to install electricity and water service cabinets at land vouchers approved by the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning. Readymade concrete wall will be constructed at every lot where the cabinet will be installed for electricity and water to be early connected before construction. This procedure ensures the completion of connection works before construction. Owners only have to apply for construction completion certificate to install and operate meters in few days.
All such initiatives come within KAHRAMAA continuous development of services. KAHRAMAA places the customer at the heart of decision making to ensure a relentless focus on the customer’s needs.
