AUE, QICC sign MoU

The Arab Union of Electricity (AUE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Qatar International Cables Company, a Nexans company at KAHRAMAA head quarter today.

The MoU was signed by HE Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari, the Chairman of the Arab Union of Electricity and KAHRAMAA’s President and Mr. Charles-Edouard Mellagui, Nexans Country Manager & CEO of Qatar International Cables Company amidst the presence of a number of senior functionaries of both organizations.
As per the MoU, Nexans will provide financial support and technical know- how  to the Arab Union of Electricity in their programs and activities for a year. Under the terms of the MoU, the scope of the alliance will include to support ongoing programs and workshops being organized by AUE and Nexans will help achieving the goals of AUE with its vast technical expertise and solutions.
‘By this collaboration, Nexans will work like a member of AUE and we believe that AUE will add new dimensions in its activities and operations across the Arab countries along with the expertise of Nexans’, said HE Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari, the Chairman of AUE and KAHRAMAA’s President at the occasion.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Charles-Edouard Mellagui, Nexans Country Manager & CEO of Qatar International Cables Company said that QICC, a Nexan’s company is delighted to collaborate with AUE and Nexans believe that our association will add new chapters in AUE- Nexans business partnership.
The MoU will Grant the Nexans a free charge membership in AUE for one year including all the advantages of members and Nexans will be placing its name and logo at all AUE publications and  reports with effect from today.

As per the MoU, Nexans will pay $100000 US dollar to the AUE for supporting AUE in its programs and activities.
