The President of "KAHRAMAA" Issues Directives to Take Constructive Measures for the Sustainability and Quality of Services

Discussing Performance During the Fourth Quarter of 2020 and Reviewing the Most Prominent Projects

The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" held a virtual online meeting to review the corporation’s performance indicators for the fourth quarter of 2020 and to discuss the most prominent current and future strategic projects. The meeting was chaired by HE. Eng. Essa bin Hilal Al-Kuwari, President of KAHRAMAA, in the presence of senior officials taking part in the discussion. 

HE the President referred to the smart projects being carried out by KAHRAMAA to improve the quality of services provided to customers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers. He also referred to the electronic invoicing system that would enhance transparency and improve the tools of financial control, and he noted that these projects are introduced in the context of automating and updating all of KAHRAMAA’s services.

His Excellency also stressed the need to carry out careful monitoring of performance indicators to ensure that the smart meters project is implemented quickly and effectively, and in a manner that is commensurate with KAHRAMAA’s quality standards. He also reviewed the course of work of the new operating system, which was developed in the context of the efforts exerted to achieve the desired financial sustainability, and discussed the consequent improvement in the speed and efficiency of operations, and the widened horizons for the initiation of new projects that keep pace with the rapid developments taking place in the State of Qatar. He further issued directives to multiply efforts and benefit from the important and constructive discussions that took place during the meeting to improve the overall quality and sustainability of services.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his thanks to the attendees and to all of KAHRAMAA’s staff for their exceptional efforts, and emphasized the need to adhere to the precautionary measures applied at KAHRAMAA to ensure the safety and health of everyone.
