Based on its social responsibility as one of the country’s leading institutions, Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation KAHRAMAA launched a Ramadan campaign under the theme "We have become closer",
The campaign comprises several community and awareness activities and events with the participation of a number of KAHRAMAA staff and volunteers to reach all community segments and introduce KAHRAMAA ‘s role and efforts to achieve its mission of providing high quality and sustainable electricity and water for a better life in the State Qatar.
The campaign includes visits to a number of charities, humanitarian and social centers in the country, since KAHRAMAA believes in the importance of social and charitable work and the importance of boosting it, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign also embraces paying visits to workers in their places of residence and workplace, in recognition of their efforts as partners in Kahramaa success and achievements attained in several projects since it is a major partner in development projects in the State.
The campaign embraces activities for KAHRAMAA staff, where religious lectures will be held for the employees in the various buildings of the Corporation with the participation of advocates to publicize the virtues of the holy month. Moreover, awareness lectures will be given to KAHRAMAA female staff at KAHRAMAA Awareness Park.
The campaign aims to introduce healthy habits and the way to preserve health during the holy month of Ramadan through a number of tips and instructions while presenting the Corporation efforts in various areas, particularly those with regard to preserving the environment and implementing sustainability for a better life in conformity with Qatar National Vision 2030.
This campaign comes as KAHRAMAA seeks to accomplish its vision that reads “By 2030 our people, assets, systems and processes will set a global benchmark for performance, technological innovation, environmental sustainability and social responsibility in electricity & water Sector.”
