Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” has celebrated National Sport Day on Tuesday February 14, 2017 by organizing various activities at KATARA Beach. The event has been attended by H.E Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, H.E Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al-Kuwari, KAHRAMAA President and Managers of various departments at Corporation.
KAHRAMAA celebration included a number of amusement games and sport activates that witnessed a great attendance of Corporation’s employees with their families and guests.
KAHRAMAA has opened its celebration with a bicycles march that followed by running race on the beach. The event has been participated by H.E Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, H.E Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al-Kuwari, KAHRAMAA President, Managers, employees and guests.
In addition, KAHRAMAA has arranged a group of competitions and games such as volley ball, football, tennis and prepared a free zone to practice different games. KAHRAMAA also has prepared a special section for women and another section for children that included amusement games to encourage them practicing sport at early age.
The celebration has witnessed a great participation from KAHRAMAA employees with their families and public who have shown a great response and interaction with all activities and events and express their happiness via attending this event and eagerness to participate every year.
These activities established by KAHRAMAA are expression of its commitment to contribute and raise the health and amusement of Qatari society in general and its employees in particular. The sport and vesical activities are opportunity allows everybody to participate effectively and invest their energies positively that return on their health and activities in achieving Corporation’s objectives.
