KAHRAMAA Participated at “your safety” Fair

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” participated at “Your Safety” Fair organized by Al-Khansaa independent preliminary school for girls on 17th May 2015. KAHRAMAA participation at the three day fair was meant to disseminate and promote the culture of electricity and water conservation.

Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department at KAHRAMAA presented KAHRAMAA role in promoting the community partnership and how to increase awareness of safety procedures. The fair was attended by students and parents where they was educated of the values of electricity and water conservation and the objectives of the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency “Tarsheed”. The Department also held a conservation contest where relevant questions and topics were raised by Qatoura and Kahroub.

It is worth to mention that KHRAMAA endeavors to reach all society classes especially students through various activities and campaigns meant to achieve Tarsheed objective to reduce electricity and water per capita consumption by 20% and 35% respectively by 2017.
